Global Resource Alliance – Tanzania (GRA – TZ) is GRA’s sister organization responsible for the day-to-day operations of our water, permaculture, solar cooking, orphans care and natural medicine programs. GRA – TZ is a non-governmental organization (NGO) registered in Tanzania. Tara Blasco and Lyn Hebenstreit serve on the Board of Directors along with Esther Raphael Mwita and Claud Egito.

The GRA – TZ compound are the former offices of the Swedish International Development Association (SIDA), which the government of Tanzania has donated to GRA for its use. The compound is located in Musoma. A lush 1.5 acre per permaculture garden on site provides food for the GRA – TZ ‘s 20 employees.  There is also ample space for drilling equipment and the inventory of hand pumps and a circular, open walled out building where orphans in the Tumaini kwa Watoto program meet each week.
